Embodiment & Integration Facilitator Training

Help learners turn reflective insights into manageable everyday practices, review what they actually notice and adapt their next steps without pressure to produce a particular result.

6 proposed modules · 18 lessons · Facilitator training

This training is being developed. Enrolment is not open. Dates, fees and final course requirements will be published before bookings begin.

Who this training is for.

Experienced TUWC facilitators preparing to guide embodiment and integration learning after the underlying teaching approach has been reviewed.

What you’ll learn to do.

  • Define integration in observable, everyday terms.
  • Help learners describe experience without overstating its meaning.
  • Choose manageable practices with explicit review points.
  • Invite learning from experience without imposing a success story.
  • Recognise when support needs exceed the learning activity.
  • Demonstrate a complete practice-and-review cycle.

Your proposed learning journey

Six modules. Space to learn and practise.

Explore the planned lessons and practical work below. The curriculum will be reviewed before enrolment opens.

Module 1

From insight to practice

Define integration in observable, everyday terms.

  • Insight, intention and action
  • Participant-led goals
  • Scope and realistic expectations

Put it into practice
Turn three fictional insights into small actions, distinguishing intentions from observable behaviour.

Module 2

Noticing without certainty

Help learners describe experience without overstating its meaning.

  • Observation and interpretation
  • Different experiences of practice
  • Optional body awareness

Put it into practice
Review fictional journal entries and separate observations, interpretations and unanswered questions.

Module 3

Designing small experiments

Choose manageable practices with explicit review points.

  • A practice within reach
  • Context and support
  • Review points and alternatives

Put it into practice
Create a fictional practice plan that states the action, context, support and conditions for adapting or stopping.

Module 4

Facilitating integration conversations

Invite learning from experience without imposing a success story.

  • Open review questions
  • Working with mixed outcomes
  • Returning choice to the learner

Put it into practice
Role-play a review conversation in which a practice did not produce the hoped-for result.

Module 5

Limits and inclusive practice

Recognise when support needs exceed the learning activity.

  • Access and pacing
  • Distress and role boundaries
  • Referral and supervision

Put it into practice
Adapt a fictional exercise for different access needs and rehearse a request outside the facilitator’s role.

Module 6

Observed integration facilitation

Demonstrate a complete practice-and-review cycle.

  • Planning an integration session
  • Observed peer conversation
  • Portfolio and next steps

Put it into practice
Submit an experiment plan, a fictional review dialogue and a reflection on uncertainty and participant choice.

How the learning will work.

Before you begin.

Proposed entry: TUWC Foundations or equivalent, relevant consumer learning and experience facilitating reflection. The methodology and entry requirements need review before launch.

Learning and practice.

Delivery format, schedule and supervised practice arrangements are being developed and will be published before enrolment.

Planned activities use fictional examples, private reflection and optional practice with consenting peers.

Putting it together.

Proposed evidence: a scope and consent statement, practical work from the modules, an observed fictional peer exercise, a reflective portfolio and a development plan. Final criteria, assessor arrangements, practice hours and completion wording will be confirmed before enrolment.

A clear scope.

Educational reflection and everyday practice. It does not provide somatic therapy, mental-health treatment or evidence that a practice caused a particular life outcome.

Any completion award, TUWC delivery permissions or external recognition will be clearly stated before enrolment.

Something to take with you

Create a practical takeaway.

An adaptable insight-to-practice activity with participant choice, accessibility considerations and a practical integration review.

You will build this through reflection and small practice tasks. It is something you can adapt, return to and use beyond the course.

Your learning resources

More than lessons to watch.

The planned course kit supports reflection, practice and integration. Course-specific workbook drafts are being prepared for review; student downloads will become available with the released course.

Your course workbook

A course-specific draft with a starting reflection, 6 module worksheets, 18 lesson practice prompts and a closing review.

Module practice worksheets

A printable worksheet for each module, bringing the lesson ideas into examples, decisions and small practices. These are included in the workbook.

Your personal takeaway

An adaptable insight-to-practice activity with participant choice, accessibility considerations and a practical integration review.

Reflection and integration plan

A before-and-after check-in, a manageable practice plan and a review of what helped, what changed and where more support is needed.

Practice portfolio prompts

Fictional-case reflection, consent and scope questions, and space to identify supervision or assessment needs. Final professional requirements are still being defined.
